What is CLI?
The Christian Leadership Institute is an intensive 5-day program for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors. We also have an Adult track for Youth Ministers. The participants will be challenged to a realization of their real leadership potential. The institute offers an opportunity for leadership development through an intensive period of learning and community living. The components of the CLI include:
Skill Workshops which deal with leadership skills and styles, communication skills, planning skills, group dynamics and consensus seeking.
Support Groups offering opportunities to grow in personal faith and awareness. It includes decision making skills, prayer experiences and a call to ministry within the church, as well as lots of personal affirmation.
Prayer and Workshop Experiences through activities which will be planned by the participants themselves.
Practice or Learning by Doing, This is a major part of the CLI experience because the participants take the full responsibility for planning and learning different parts of the program.
